RiskComms Global Outlook

Help shape the first truly global study on crisis communication

ICM has long championed research that helps communicators make smarter strategic decisions. That’s why we’re supporting the RiskComms Global Outlook, a personal initiative led by Philippe Borremans, a crisis, risk, and emergency communication consultant and Past President of IPRA. The goal is simple: gather honest insights from practitioners about how crisis communication actually works around the world.

Most research on this topic draws heavily from just a handful of markets. This initiative is designed to be different. It’s seeking strong participation from every region—including yours—and making room for voices that are often under-represented, particularly in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. The findings will be shared free of charge with the wider PR and corporate communication profession.

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is available in English, French, Spanish and Arabic. Add your perspective here:  https://riskcommsresearch.com

The survey closes November 9, 2026. Thanks for taking part—and for helping us build a truly global picture of the profession.
