ICM’s 2025 Crisis Communication Certification Course schedule is out! The original “master class,” this program is entering its 35th year as our most requested class.
Designed for anyone who may have to develop or deliver messages in a crisis, or work with the crisis management team, participants learn to:
- Identify and prepare for business issues and crises
- Evaluate organization’s vulnerabilities and potential for issues to explode
- Anticipate issues that may become a crisis
- Gain management support for crisis planning
- Quantify financial impact of a potential crisis
- Develop effective, realistic crisis communication plans
- Identify stakeholders and prioritize actions for those most likely to get involved
- Use online and traditional communication tools effectively
- Understand how media work and how to work with reporters
- Develop strategy and messaging for employees, customers, media and other critical stakeholders
- Use AI and social media to improve response
- Measure crisis response
- Debrief and learn from the crisis
This live, online class is delivered in six, two-hour sessions, on Mondays and Wednesdays from noon- 2 p.m. ET. Class sessions are recorded for those who may have to miss a session.
